Seo dà bheachd a thàinig a-steach mar fhreagairtean ris an litir 'Gaelic spending is not a waste' air làrach Inverness Courier.

Yes indeed, where is the arts? Well when I was younger we learned all the arts we needed as it was entwined into our Gaelic everyday life living, the language, the stories, the poetry, the crafts, the prayers, the everything!

Now as SMO and others have hi-jacked that from us, they put it all into different boxes and you get paid for each of those, whether it be in management or at a microphone, but meantime back on the croft the language and its true culture is dying on its feet and fast, but those in control only think of their own job security and all the propaganda that goes with it, AMEN!

I would disagree with that Angus, that language has been left to stagnate for years and if it wasn't for the likes of SMO then Gaelic would be in a far worse state. The depth and breadth of culture taught to the kids at Bun Sgoil Gaidhlig Inbhir Nis is easily as good if not BETTER than what I got as a child at Cross Primary and Aird Primary in Lewis.

If you have concerns then stand up and be counted.
