Tha mi gun obair an dràsda cuideach. Bha mi ag obair anns an Lunnainn. Tha mo bràthair pòsda anns an Obair Dheathain, bha e gun obair cuideach, ach s' e "oil worker" a th' annam.
Chì a dh'aithghearr, bidh mise ag obair, tha mi an dòchas gum faic
Bha mi air falbh anns an Obair Dheathain, Eilginn agus Inbhir Pheofharain, ach gun obair, is mòr am beud.
I am unemployed at the moment as well. I used to work in London. My brother lives in Aberdeen, he lost his job too, but has a new job as an oil worker.
I went off to Aberdeen, Elgin and Dingwall, but there was no work there, more's the pity.I'd like to say I'd been interviewed for jobs in Aberdeen, Elgin and Dingwall, but didn't get them, but, chan urrainn dhomh innse dhut. Carson? Oir chan eil fhios agam!!

I'm not sure... interview = agallamh, so maybe rinn iad agallamh or fhuair mi agallamh
Beagan ceartachaidh:
ann an Lunnainn - without article
mo bhràthair - mo lenites
s' e "oil worker" a th' ann - ann = in him, annam = in me. You were saying that you yourself were an oil worker
Guma math a thèid leat, tha mi an dòchas gum faigh thu obair.
Good luck, I hope you find work.

Tha mi duilich, tha mo Gàidhlig grot, ach tha mi ag ionnsachadh. Bha mi anns an sgoil, chan eil bha tidsear Beurla math againn. Tha gràmar beagan, ach, tha Doric gu leòr, tha mi fileanta!GunChleoc wrote:I'm not sure... interview = agallamh, so maybe rinn iad agallamh or fhuair mi agallamh

I'm sorry, my Gaelic is rotten, but I am learning. When I went to school, we didn't have a good English teacher. I have little grammar, but I have plenty Doric, I am fluent!

Nach bi duilich - don't be sorry!
You should have seen my first attempts at writing anything in Gaelic
Some more hints to help you improve (and not to clobber you on top of the head with a grammar stick!):
Past tense of chan eil is cha robh
Tha beagan gràmair agam - I have a little grammar. beagan always comes first, and gràmair is in the genitive
Chan eil Doric sam bith agamsa
I don't have any Doric
