Soidhnichean Gàidhlig, suidheachadh Sruighlea
'COMMUNITIES around Stirling are to be consulted on whether or not they would like to see Gaelic signs in their areas.
At the recent full meeting of Stirling Council, a motion by Councillor Gerard O’Brien calling for any new signs erected within the local area to include place names in both English and Gaelic was defeated.
However, an amendment put forward by Labour councillor Colin O’Brien, to let individual communities decide for themselves if this was something they would like to see, received broad backing.
SNP councillor Jim Thomson, who had officially seconded Gerard O’Brien’s motion, said the amendment was something he could accept.
The four-strong Tory group, however, maintained their strong opposition, with group leader Alistair Berrill calling it “a piece of nonsense”.'

Duh, tha consultants aca airson a h-uile braidhm ach nuair a thig e gu Gàidhlig, tha gach comhairliche is gach cailleach aig a bheil Gàidhlig 'na eòlaiche gu h-obann...
Do, or do not. There is no try.
