Tha mi éisteachd air clann.
[Carson a bheil an facal air 'children' clann (in Teach Yourself Gaelic), ach caslach, maicne, agus oigridh (in Dwelly's)?]
I am listening to children
Why is the word for 'children' clann in Teach Yourself Gaelic, but caslach, maicne, and oigridh in Dwelly's?
Moran taing!

Tha mi ag éisteachd ri clann.
It's a bit unexpected... coimhead and sealltainn air, but éisteachd and cluinntinn ri.
Clann is a special type of noun, a bit like "this was the news" in English. You don't say "these were the news".

òigridh means "youth", I don't know the other ones.
Nuair a chleachdainn... = When I would use...
Cuine a chleachdainn... = When would I use...?
And watch out for those accents; they are very important for vowel length. If you have trouble typing them, just use the buttons on top
Missing accents is a pet peeve of mine

chan eil e cho dona a thaobh slàinte. chan eil ann ach aon ùgh is beagan siùcar is glè bheag dhe ìm agus torr banàna is mìn. chur mi torr bruileagan is peanut butter ann gus blas a bharrachd a thoirt dha.
it's not so bad health wise. there's just one egg, some sugar, a little butter and some flour in it. i put cranberries and peanut butter in too to give it a little more flavour.
's e sin an aon rud as urrainn dhomh beicearachd

Halo GC.
Ciamar a tha thu an-diugh?
Tha mi glè toilichte an-diugh agus tha mi eisteachd ri cèol agus òl cofaidh.
Hello GC. How are you today?
I am very happy and listening to music and drinking coffee.
I know it's been a long time since I was on here but been very busy at work and have not had time to log on.
Hope to be back on regularly as my Gàidhlig is improving greatly as my knowledge of the language widens.
Mar sin leat an-dràsta.
