Hello everyone!

I am new. My Gaelic is bad.But I'm learning and I hope this forum will help.
So to me: I am 26, half-german/half-french. I live in England since a few months and I am a big fan of scotland, hence I'm learning gaelic. I intend to move to scotland at some point in the future (it's all about getting a job).

I have 2 dogs, I love reading. I play the guitar (badly), I like sports (but I'm a little lazy) and I'm working in Tech Support (not very interesting).

Well, the subject is about all the Gaelic I know. I LOVE Scotland and everything similar to it (I wear a kilt quite a lot, NO JOKE!) I'm still learning the Gàidhlig, so I joined this forum to help me learn it. I can't wait to get started!

The avatar is a table of Gaelic pronunciation somewhere on the net that I found as well when I first started.

I suggest you have a peek at akerbeltz.org, which is far more detailed :)

Chan eil mi eòlach air a' Ghearmailtis, ach cha smaoinich mi gu bheil "fàilte" na fhacal Gearmailtis...

Failtè

I am very fond of languages, and attempt to learn a little of the native tongue wherever I go. I spent three years in Germany, and somehow managed to learn enough to get around while there.

Actually started learning Gaidhlig a couple years ago, but had to set it aside when I started my current school. I am now finally at a spot to start back up, but don't have anyone near me who is learning or to help me learn. I shall try not to butcher the language too much when I start attempting my posts in Gaildhig, so please be gentle.
