Tha mis' ag ionnsachadh na Innis Tìleas an-dràsta. Chaidh mi ann an uiridh dà thuras agus chuir an cànan aca iongnadh orm - tha i cho inntinneach. Gu h-àraid an dòigh as am bithear a' cruthachadh facail ùra. Bhiodh e fìor mhath nan dèanadh sinn an aon rud le Gàidhlig!

I'm learning Icelandic. I went 2 times to Iceland last year and their language amazed me - it's so interesting. Especially the way in which they create new words. It would be great if we did the same with Gaelic

Tha Wymoming glè bhòidheach! Is toil leam Wymoning.

Wyoming is very beautiful. I love Wyoming.

I only spent a day in the badlands, and I enjoyed it greatly!

Bha mise anns na "Badlands" (na Tìrean Dona, 's dòcha?), trì no dhà bliadhna air ais. Bha sinn a' dèanamh tadhal air Beann Rushmore nuair a bha sinn ann. Bha an aimsir uabhasach teth. Cuin' an robh thusa ann, a Chòseim?

I was in the Badlands two or three years ago. We visited Mount Rushmore while we were there. The weather was extremely hot. When were you there, Coiseam?

Bha mi anns na Badlands dhà bliadhna air ais, tha mi a' smaointinn. Bha e uabhasach theth cuideachd. Faicaidh mi buabhallean.

I was in the badlands two years ago, I think. It was also very hot. I saw buffalo.

Also, I think it's an t-aimsir.

I thought so too, but just recently I was looking more into noun genders, and apparently nominative feminine nouns don't have an t- after all...? Just an. That's what all my books seem to say. Can someone confirm this?

weather = aimsir
the weather = an aimsir
of the weather = na h-aimsire

OR

weather = sìde
the weather = an t-sìde
of the weather = na sìde

I was wrong then, at least I learned something new.

I just ran 7 kilometers without pause, a victory if I may call it so.
I have set a goal for myself, to overcome my greatest limitation: sloth.
At the end of the following half year period I want to be able to run long distances with a burden of stones upon my back, shield and spear in hand and kilt around my waist (for warrior style).

Tha mi aig an taigh mo chaomhnach aige, an-diugh. Bha mi a' dèanamh obair an-diugh, agus bha an taimsir glè mhath! Bha e glè ghrianach. Bidh mi a' dèanamh obair cuideachd a-màireach.

I am at my friend's house today. I have been working today, and the weather was very good! It was very sunny. I will do work tomorrow also.

Gabhaidh mi dà chupa cofaidh gach madainn, so tha mi ag òl a chiad fear an-drasta. An déidh an darna fear, tha mi a' dol a dhol dhan oifis agam san leabharlann. / I have two cups of coffee every morning, so I'm drinking the first one now. After the second one, I'm going to go to my office in the library.

Nach sgrìobh sibh sin sa Bheurla. Cha do thuig mi 'mo chaomhnach aige'.
Please, write this in English. I didn't understand ...
