17. Ach thuirt e e ann an Cuimris, mar sin fhreagair mi le an aon t-abairt a bha fios agam anns a' chànan sin: "Arhoswch - mae'r coetsmon wedi cael ei daro gan fellt!"

I'm not 100% sure "le" is the prep I should use there, but that should be at least coherent.

I don't suppose that is remotely near correct but it was the best i could manage!

I'm struggling again with this one. How do I say 'some' in this type of sentence. Is the construction with 'feumaidh' correct. Is that the right way to say unless? And wat on earth is 'e-bay' in gaelic?

25: No, but you can get a very nice bicycle in exchange for a plate of oatmeal

This is a difficult one indeed, especially as as "developing some talent" is so abstract!

This is my attempt: "Mura lorg mi e, an dèidh sin, chan fhuilear dhomh beagan tàlann a thoirt gu buil. Am bheil beagan dheth saor ri cheannach air E-bay?"

Feumaidh is fine, but you can use "chan fhuilear do" in the same sense here. As in "requiring"...look up "fuilear" in Dwellys.

Mura for unless should be followed by the verb in the future in this situation!
