Argh -- who was in charge of the subtitling for Lostbost? Shouldn't somebody have pointed out that it's customary to use dashes to indicate that two lines on the same screen are by different people? (I think Slighe gu Biadh might have done the same thing. Can't remember for certain...)

As for "not on the same level as Top Gear"... can that be a bad thing?

I noticed on the BBC Alba website that iplayer programs can be veiwed through the Nintendo Wii (with proper equipment and downloads). I couldn't find anything about playing it on the Wii outside of the UK. Does anyone know if it's possible? Could this be our loophole for viewing it in the US, or would we get the same message that we get on the computer?

As far as I know they are using the IP Address ranges for the blocking, and they even have British proxy servers tagged. Since I assume the Nintendo would work with an internet connection and thus with an American IP address, I suspect you won't have any luck :(
