gaelic is infinitely easier than german
words all over the place and sentences like jigsaws
the amount of times i see a german sentence, in which i know every word, but can't make any sense out of is really annoying
keine Ahnung, was das sagt, a dharkside

Actually, my German is better than my English, since I
am German
Can't make head or tails of your ecample though, but that might have to do with the fact that English spelling is highly ambiguous and I'm not sure how what you wrote was actually pronounced.

Bhiodh e nas fhasa dhut ma bhios cothrom agad airson tighinn an-seo leth bhliadhna no a leithid
It would be easier for you if you had the opportunity to come here for half a year or so

Ein Fass [?] Weizen, bitte. ??
(Fass = barrel, and Weizenbier = a kind of wheat-based beer, bitte=please)

Ciamar a tha sibh an-diugh?
Hello everyone. How are you today?
I am well but a little tired from working too hard today.
@ Niall, is it ok to meet up sometime when I'm not working? Please let me know, it would be good to meet another Gàidhlig speaker/learner.
Mar sin leat an-dràsta agus mòran taing.
