Tha mi a' guidhe gach deagh dhurachd dhuibh ma tha oir 's e a' chiad latha den t-Sultain a tha an-diugh!
Chan eil i glè brèagha an-seo cia-ta; tha i dorcha. Tha mi an dòchas nach bi an t-uisge ann...
So, I wish you the best wishes, because it's the first of September now!
The wether is not fine here, though; it's dark. I hope it would not be rain...

An t-Sultain Shona dhut agus a h-uile duine!
Happy September to you and everybody!
I'm not in a position to correct anyone's Gaelic, but for my own sake and learning, wouldn't
I hope it would not rain be
tha mi an dòchas nach biodh an t-uisge ann ? Or am I missing something here?

Oh, OK. Tapadh leat GunChleoc.
By the way, may I ask what your avatar is a picture of GunChleoc? It looks like one of those Rorschach Test pictures. If that's what it is, I see a woman with flowing hair.

Tha mi ga faicinn cuideachd.
Seadh, sgrìobh mi 'would' oir a bha mi a' smaoineachadh gum biodh sin nas fheàrr ann am Beurla; chan eil mi cinnteach cia-tà: chan eil deagh Beurla agam.
I see her too.
Yes, I wrote "would", because I thought that it would be better in English; I'm not sure though: my English is not quite good.

I think that it would be better put as, "I hope it won't rain," or, "I hope it isn't rain."
You help my Gaelic and I help your English. I'm not that good in Gaelic as of yet, but hopefully I'm fluent in English by now.

Uill, tha mi a' creidsinn gu bheil an t-sìde a' fuarachadh.
Well, I do believe that the weather is cooling.

Tha mi teagmhach gur e an t-sìde a tha a' fuarachadh, ach cha chreid mi nach e an t-àile a tha a' fàs fuar.
I am doubtful that the weather is cooling, but I think that the air is becoming cold.

Tha e gu dearbh a' fàs fuar an-seo, ach chan eil i glè fhuar fhathast.
Bha an t-uisge ann an-diugh, ach shoillsich grian am measg neòil cia-tà.
It is really becoming cold here, but it's not very cold yet.
It did rain today, but the sun did shine among clouds though.

Tha sinn a' faighinn àile blàth an-dràsta, ach gaothach oir tha fuigheall a' Ghaillinn Katria a' tighinn dlùth.
We are getting warm air just now, but windy as the remains of Hurricane Katria are coming closer.

a-nis? Tha a' ghrian a-muigh
. Bith ge an t-uisge anmoch is dòcha :L.
Now? The sun is out. Although it will probably rain later :L.
'Bith ge an t-uisge anmoch is dòcha' - is that grammatically correct? I was not sure.
