You can say Tha i grianach blàth, but CelticSpice is right, an-diugh without lenition.

That's correct, but it's not lenition but something else. Some dialects do that after
an and it's a bit similar to Irish urachadh/eclipsis. Unlike Irish, it's not a grammar thing in Scottish Gaelic though.
