Fàilte oirbh!

A Grainnig, 's dòcha gum bi e math sealltain air http://www.acgamerica.org/ far a bheil liòsta buidhnean na Gàidhlig ann.
Hedgehog, perhaps it will be good to look at ... where there is a list of Gaidhlig groups.

Ealasaid, an e thusa a tha marchachd an t-each òirdheirc?
Elisabeth, is that you who rides the magnificent horse?

Taing dhuibh, a charaidean,

Tha aon bruinneadair fileanta ann am Portland ('se Geoff Fraser an t-ainm a th'air), ach chan eil e a' teagasg clasaichean idir a-nis.

'S beagan bochd sin...Co-dhiù, còrd rium an fhòram.

Ah, bha mi anns an togalach sin an latha sin cuideachd - airson clasaichean Gàidhlig - ach cha b'urrainn dhomh a bhith air fuireach airson an coinneamh. 'S math do leughadh a chaidh an coinneamh math.

Hàlo! Is mise Annie agus I just started learning Gaidhlig about 2 weeks ago. Tha mi às na Staitean Aonaichte agus I am 14 years old. I am not from Scottish decent, but I thought it would be nice to learn. I think it would be much easier to learn if I had a teacher, but for now, I am learning from the BBC website.

Hopefully my next post will be in mostly Gaidhlig, but we will see then! :?

Tapadh leibh for creating this forum and giving us all a chance to parctice our Gaidhlig! :D

Hello to all of you!

I will try to post in Gaìdhlig in my next posts, but I am between courses in Aberdeen, and a bit rusty!

The new course starts in about six weeks, and I am really looking forward to it.

I am the only Scot in my family, and have no native-speaker relatives. I have wanted to learn for years, but found it very difficult without someone to talk to! I've been learning for about eight months now, and am beginning to make headway, but know there's a LONG road ahead!

In future, please forgive my mistakes, and also please correct me. It's the only way to improve!

Tapadh leibh,

Daibhidh
