Tha mi a' brabhsadh an eadar-lìon.

I'm browsing the internet.

Tha mi ag ionnsachadh Gàidhlig.

I'm learning Scottish Gaelic.

Tha mi a' clò-sgrìobhadh an teacsa seo.

I'm typing this text.

Glè mhath an dithis agaibh! :moladh:

Bha mi air saor làithean ann an Arcaibh còmhla ri caraid. Chunnaic sinn mòran àiteachan arc-eòlach agus ainmhidhean. Chòrd e rinn glan ach bha i uabhasach fuar is gaothach am bliadhna. Bha fhiù 's muinntir an àite fhèin a' gearan.

I was on a holiday in Ornkey with a friend. We saw many archeological places and animals. We liked it very much but it was very cold and windy this year. Even the locals were complaining

Tha sin glè inntinneach, gu sònraichte dè ainmhaidhean a bha sibh a' faicinn.

It's very interesting, expecially what animals you saw.

Bha mi a' coiseachd a-muigh anns an t-sìde theth is bha mi ag òl mòran uisge. Tha mi anns an taigh fuar a-nis.

I was walking outside in the hot weather and I drank alot of water. I'm in the cold house now.

Tha an taigh fuar an seo cuideachd, ach chan eil e teth a-muigh - chan eil e glè bhlàth idir! Abair samhradh a th' againn am bliadhna!

The house is cold here too, but it isn't hot outside - it's not very warm at all! What a summer we're having this year!

Tha mi a' sealltainn a mach as an uinneag air speur làn sgòthan, agus a' smaoineachadh air a' cuirm-chiùil a bhios a' gabhail àite ann an Ceann-tìre aig deireadh na seachdaine, far an tèid mi.

I am looking out of the window at a sky full of clouds, and thinking about the music fesitval which will be taking place in Kintyre at the weekend, where I am going

Tha mi 'n dòchas gum bi thu ag innse dhuinn ma deidhinn!

Welcome! we're happy to see you here.
What concert? Who's playing? I hope you'll tell us about it!

Tha mi ag òl copan de chofaidh. Starbucks. Tha mi ag iarraidh na Gàidhlig daonnan. Tha mi den bheachd gu bheil mi ag ionnsachadh glè mhath. Gosh, tha mi anns a' ghaol air Starbucks (?).

I am drinking a cup of coffee. Starbucks. I am always learning Gaelic. I am of the opinion that I am learning very well. Gosh, I (am in) love (with) Starbucks (?).

Uill, chaigh mi a-muigh ‘son dinnear an-raoir agus tha mi a’ smaoineachadh gun robh mi ag òl cus, sgàth ‘s gu bheil mo cheann goirt an diugh! Bha mi a’dol gu bhith a’deanamh gàidhlig ionnsachadh am madainn seo, ach bha mi ro sgìth, ge-ta tha mi ga dèanamh a-nis. Bidh mi air-ais aig an obair a-maireach, chan eil fiughar agam ri sin!

Well, I went out for dinner last night and I think that i was drinking too much because I have a headache today. I was going to be learning Gaelic this morning, but I was too tired, though I am doing it now. I will be back at work tomorrow, I’m not looking forward to that!

Tha mi den bheachd bum b' fhearr leibh a ràdh mar seo -- I think that you would like to say so:
Tha mi ag òl copan cofaidh (genitive without article).
Tha mi daonnan ag ionnsachadh Gàidhlig (chan eil mi cinnteach càit' am feum "daonnan" a bhith -- I'm not sure where "daonnan" is to be).
Tha mi deidheil air S. / Is toil leam S. / 'S fìor thoil leam S. -- something like this.

Gosh, I made two simpleton mistakes. I forgot about the genitive and I put iarraidh in place of ionnsachadh. The latter being my first Gaelic typo (If you would call replacing an entire word a typo), so I guess maybe that could be something to be proud of in a way.

Concerning daonnan though, I was told by GunChleoc that time and place go to the end of a sentence.

Since daonnan means "always," I assumed that it would fall under the time category. However, I'm not sure either. :?

Tapadh leat, poor_mouse! :)

Yes, it does usually go at the end of the sentence, but I think in this case because of the emphasis it does sound better where poor mouse put it. Nothing comes easy, does it
