Ionnsaichidh mi e works better in this context, bu bi mi ga ionnsachadh (I will be learning it) is a correct sentence

I think you're doing better than me with the Gaelic! How long have you been learning it? How often do you practice?

Not at all. I don't have a lot of Gaelic at all. I think (I am of the opinion) that you have much, much Gaelic.

I have been learning it for about a year and a half.
(I'm not sure how to say the latter part in Gaelic. I'm not actually sure if I said the former part correctly.)

Typo, my bad. bidh mi ag ionnsachadh, the independent form.

Well, I went to church yesterday. When I woke up today, I thought that it was a winter day. It's too cold.

Bha mi ann an eaglais an-dè cuideachd. 'S e féill mhòr a tha ann ann an Ruis an t-ochdamh latha air fhichead dhen Lùnasdal (no an còigeamh latha deug san t-seann mhìosachan).

I was at a church yesterday too. It's a great holiday in Russia at 28th of August (or 15 according to the old calendar).

Bheil gu dearbh? Dè bha an saor-là?

You only use cuin in sentences like this:

Cuin an do dhùisg thu? - When did you wake up?
Chan eil fhios agam cuin a dhùisgeas iad. - I don't know when will they wake up.

If you can (clumsily) say "at the time at which" instead of "when", you say nuair a (short for an uair a - the time that):

Nuair a dhùisg mi an-diugh...
