Well, I'm reading what Faoileag said.

Did I say that correctly?

I am in the office now. I started working a few minutes ago. It can't be that I have to work on a beautiful day like this!

I'm listening to the radio right now and I'm going running after my dinner. It's dark and cold but that is Scotland in the winter.

I think boile has a negative connotation *looks at dictionary*

bha i air a togail cho mór leis na bha a' tachairt
she was so excited, stirred up with what was happening

mór air bhioran
to be very excited, thrilled

I like the word togail. Tha e a' togail mo chridhe - it is uplifting my heart. Tha mi a' togail taigh - I am raising (building) a house.

@Caoimhin: Seo Alba dhut - that's Scotland for you!

... an dèidh mo dhìnnear a ghabhail. Maybe you haven't seen this structure yet.

Seadh. Nach robh sinn a' bruidhinn mu dhèidhinn seo roimhe? Tha a' chuimhne orm...
Yeah. Didn't we speak about this before? I remember...

I need to remember that togail can be used in such a way.

Tha mi a' sealltainn a-mach air an uinneag, agus tha mi a' faicainn frasan aotrom uisge. Bu choir dhomh a tilleadh dhan obair.
I am looking out the window, and I see light rain showers. I should return to work.

Tha mi a' dol a-mach. Tha mi a' dol a' snamh. Bha mi a dheanmh mo dh'obair-dachaigh (Gaidhlig).

I am going out. I am going swimming. I was doing my homework (Gaelic).

Ach tha mi a' smaoineachadh gu bheil fada nas fheàrr.

Tha mi a' dol a shnàmh. Bha mi a' dèanamh... Gàidhlig.

When conveying a future tense with a' dol you don't need a' or ag in the following verb. Instead, you use a, which is the remains of the preposition do. This will, of course, lenite as do does. Also, watch your accents. Accents are essential in Gàidhlig. :priob:

Tha sin ceart: a' dol a shnàmh, a' dol a dhèanamh.

Bha mi tinn o chionn fhada, ro fhada gu dearbh; bha mi tinn 's na b' fhaide na b' fhàrr leam (???)

I was ill very long time, too long really; I was ill longer than I would like.

Chan eil fhios agam ciamar a bhios sin ceart sa' Gàidhlig!

I do not know how it would be correct in Gealic!

Tha mi gu dòigheil a-nis agus tha mi a' dol a dh'ionnsachadh Gàidhlig gu dìcheallach.

I am all right now and I'm going to study Gaelic diligently.
