A friend asked how to say "Always trust your gut."
I came up with Earbsa do caolanaich 's gach am.
How is that? Thanks.

this can't be translated literally man, it doesn't mean anything in gaelic

What one needs, in this instance, is a Book of Sayings. I may be wrong, put I think Poor Alexander fae Australia may have such a thing.
