Halò!
Halò, a h-uile duine! Tha mi glè ùr. Tha mi às na Stàitean Aonaichte.
Hello everyone! I'm very new. I'm from the US.
I'm quite excited about studying Gàidhlig, and hope to become fluent eventually. A good portion of my family is Scottish, and my sister is also learning.
Please feel free to correct any mistakes you notice me making, as I'm still very much a beginner.

Tha "Daenyth" a' ciallachadh "Daenyth".Seonaidh wrote:Fàilte a Dhaenyth. Dè tha sin a' ciallachadh - "Daenyth"? Tha coimhead Cuimris air, mar "Delyth".
Howdy Daenyth. What dus theat mean - "Daenyth"? It heas a Welsh look to it, lahk "Delyth".

"Daenyth" means "Daenyth". (Is that right? Just guessing based off your post.)
It's a name I made up for myself long ago, and Welsh did play a part in it, indirectly... I was putting together different sounds I found pleasant, and came up with that. Inspired somewhat by Katherine Kerr's Deverry saga, which uses an extrapolated relative of Welsh.
Tha mi ag ionnsachadh Gàidhlig air an lion.faoileag wrote:Càit a bheil thu ag ionnsachadh Gàidhlig?
I'm learning Gaelic online
No defined course at the moment, just finding what tidbits I can.. Working with BBC's "Beag air Bheag" and the Taic grammar lessons, primarily.
I'm afraid that's a little beyond me at the moment.horoghaellaidh wrote:haidh Daenyth - tha e math cluinntinn bhuat - le durachdan
