Scots are furious with the decision of UK film producers to choose nine-year-old Thomas Henry for one of main roles in 'The Eagle of the Ninth'.
They searched the length and breadth of Scotland but couldn't find a suitable Gàidhlig (Scottish Gaelic) speaker and instead chose Henry, from west Belfast.
English and Gaelic are spoken in the new film by director Kevin MacDonald, whose previous credits include 'The Last King Of Scotland'.
The movie tells the story of a Roman legion which disappears in Scotland. Its main characters include a Gaelic-speaking youth called Seal Boy, played by Thomas Henry'
