Am Mercury a-mach air bhideo didseatach a rinn Dòmhnall Morris:
'Were there to be a monthly prize for the most entertaining analysis of outdoor-related matters, a sort of Perrier Award for peakbaggers, paddlers and pedal-pushers, January’s winner would surely be Donald Morris (or Domhnall Morris as he prefers), for a piece of digi-video work entitled “Geoffrey and Jeffrey plan their weekend”. Before watching its two minutes of merriment, however, a little background is needed.
Morris is a climber, skier and all-round mountain man who writes a blog in Scottish Gaelic, Beanntan, Uisge agus Spòrs (Mountains, Water and Sport).
This is worth visiting in its own right, even if one does not have the Gaelic, for its pictures of snowy Scottish hills and roads (and a goat – see “Little Wyvis agus a’ ghaoth”, 5 January 2010). Morris is also a regular poster on UK Climbing, and a trenchant defender of Gaelic pronunciation, especially with regard to hill names.'
