Connspaid mu telebhisean anns a' Chuimris

Unread post by Níall Beag »

Tha connspaid mór ann mu cosgais S4C
"Effectively S4C had no viewers for 196 programmes."
http://www.techwatch.co.uk/2010/03/11/s ... h-viewers/

"TV channel costing taxpayers £100m has no viewers"
"A TV channel funded by the public showed nearly 200 programmes which attracted NO viewers last month."
http://www.mirror.co.uk/celebs/news/201 ... -22101993/

"FEWER than one-in-five S4C programmes within a three-week period attracted more than 10,000 viewers, the Western Mail has learned."
http://www.walesonline.co.uk/news/wales ... -25999157/ (Ach shaoil iad gu... "In practice, [zero rating] means they had less than 1,000 [viewers]."

Ach chan eil an cuid mhór ag innse an sgeul gu léir. A-réir ceannard S4C
BBC wrote:"Barb, the body that measures viewing figures cannot take account of children under the age of four - the target audience for these programmes. So the viewing of these programmes cannot be measured accurately."
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainmen ... 562053.stm

Agus cuideachd, tha seo air làrach S4C:
S4C wrote:There are 600 homes in Wales on BARB's measurement panel, with 309 of these consisting of at least one Welsh speaker.
http://www.s4c.co.uk/abouts4c/corporate ... arch.shtml
They've extrapolated from 309 homes with "at least one" Welsh speaker, the viewing habits of infants have been discounted and they're howling about poor viewing figures for infant TV?

Disingenuous doesn't begin to describe it.

Deagh rannsachadh, a Nèill.

Tha na breugan seo car coltach ri mar a bhiodh luchd-obrach a' chunntais sluaigh a bhiodh a' clàradh àireamh luchd-labhairt na Gàidhlig aig deireadh an 19mh linn a' toirt figearan na bu lugha na bha iad ann an dà-riribh.

Uaireannan, bhiodh teaghlaichean aig nach robh facal Beurla air an clàradh nan luchd-labhairt Beurla!
Dèan buil cheart de na fhuair thu!

Mhothaich mi gun do dh'fheuch an Express ionnsaigh eile a thoirt air Mgr Salmond a thaobh telebhisean. Bha iad a' cur a-steach telebhisean Gàidhlig, a' cumail a-mach gur ann mar pàirt iomairt nàiseantach a bh' ann.

Nuair a bha i òg - is a' fuireach a-muigh às a Chuimrigh - bha prògramman Cuimris rim faicinn uaireannan. Nuair a thàinig S4C (Sianel Pedwar Cymru - Seanal Ceithir na Cuimrigh), stad prògramman Cuimris air na seanailean eile - chall sinn, a-muigh, a h-uile rud. Cha robh fiu 's Radio Cymru ri chluintinn -cha robh e ach air FM.

An e BARB a th' air a' bhuidheann - no an e BORB a th' oirre? Doirbh ga creidsinn, bheachdsa.
