Re: Looking for Gaelic lessons online
Are you looking for people trained in any particular style of teaching?
(Not that I'm a Gaelic teacher, just think it's useful.)

Experience would be useful but not essential - to use the usual line.
Are you interested?

Re: Looking for Gaelic lessons online
I'm often tempted to try the teaching thing again, but I'm guessing this is only part time piece work, and besides, there's plenty of people far better qualified to teach Gaelic than me, so I'll pass, but I know a few people who might be interested, so I'll pass on the details.

OK, but if you wanted to try - why not?
Thanks and I hope you give it a bash!

Re: Looking for Gaelic lessons online
What do you mean by online?
Skype + email?
Or do you have a 'Blackboard' or other commercial sytem up and running?
What level?
Times etc pre-set or flexible?
Could recommend someone (trained adult ed. language teacher with Skype class experience) but they would need to know format, course description, level. etc.

Re: Looking for Gaelic lessons online
I am constructing a page on my website www.milc-uk.co.uk to promote online language learning .
So, when you visit my site, when the page is ready, you'll be able to select a teacher for online study in any language from English , Arabic, French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Greek, Portuguese, Thai, Chinese, German
As I get visitors all over the world , it would be great to have a Gaelic language teacher available too.
You set your own schedule and timetable - the level is up to you, but normally people meet each other first to arrange lessons and level.
I use Skype and email.
I want to build this up so that there is a strong Gaelic presence in the online teaching field and trying to make Stornoway a cultural and educational hub especially in the field of international links and exchange.

I see you're using Myngle -- what are you offering over and above the basic Myngle service?
