Làmh mharbh Inbhir Nis

Pìos bhon neach-deasachaidh sa Phàipear Bheag:
"Action not surveys are needed if Gaelic is to survive."
...But overall, we do not need a census to tell us that spoken, community Gaelic continues to decline. And we do not need another Scottish Government survey to reassure us that 81 per cent of Scots "feel it is important that Scotland does not lose its Galeic language traditions". In present circumstances that is at best condescending.
At worst it is whitewashing failure. What money is available to Gaelic should be spent on Gaelic, not on canvassing shoppers in Cambuslang for their opinions of Gaelic.
And the money that is spent on Gaelic must be spent more bravely, more imaginatively and more distant from from the dead hand of Inverness. If it is not, if there is not a root-and-branch reappraisail of current policies, we will all have reason to dread the results of the 2021 census."
Air a' Ghàidhealtachd gheibhear badan far a bheil muinntir an àite dhen bheachd gur e àite fada air falbh a th'ann an Inbhir Nis nuair a thig e don dhòigh a tha Comhairle na Gàidhealtachd agus na quangos gar riaghladh. 'S ann mar sin a tha e le moran ann an Inbhir Narann agus chan eil ach 16 mile eadarinn agus Inbhir Nis. 'S e iompaireachd fada air falbh dhuinn.
Chan eil e a' cur uabhas iongnadh orm gur ann mar sin a bhios feadhainn ann an Saoghal na Gàidhlig ach saoil gum bi Gàidhlig sam bith aig an neach-deasaiche seo agus mar sin a bheil i/e buileach tuigse air a'chùis?
Ach nach e rud a uabhasach fhèin feumail a th'anns an rannsachadh seo? Chan eil ach 9% an aghaidh Gàidhlig agus cia mheud dhiubh a tha sgrìobhadh litrichean do na pàipearan-naidheachd. Can 200-300 air feadh na dùthcha? Ach a' phuing mu làmh mharbh Inbhir Nis a' dèanamh cron? Bidh moran ga chreidsinn san fharsaingneachd.
