Leth de dh' iomlan is technically correct, but one would never say it like that. Just doesn't sound Gaelic.

Thank you so much for you responses! That is huge help. So basically you recommendation is the phrase u gave? Sorry to sound dumb i am trying to learn as much as possible Any other suggestions so that it sounds Gaelic. I really really want it to sound Gaelic and make sense in those terms. I'm up for any suggestions from any and everyone!

I would personally recommend that you get this done professionally, as it's going to be on your body for a long time, so it should be right, or Gaelic speakers you meet in the future may (at best) give you strange looks!

Most of us on here are learners, and learners, however advanced, are not the best people to consult about permanent engravings. Even native-speakers are not all poetically inclined, so might give you something clumsy, and not all are accurate at spelling and grammar, as it's only recently that Gaelic has been taught in schools again.

You're probably unaware that there are several small agencies which will do a short phrase fairly cheaply but professionally, and by using them you'd be contributing to livelihoods of Gaelic-speakers, and helping to keep Gaelic in use professionally:

The first I knew about it disappearing was when people started complaining that my links didn't work.

I think I heard mention of a guy at the BBC with the same name as the guy at Cainnt, so maybe he's working for Auntie now...?
