Traogh thu am slisean air pàipear-naidheachd.

How are you all? I played Hurling this morning. It was good fun!

I am cooking supper now and I though it would be good to share a recipe. It's a simple recipe.

Potato-Peeler Crisps

1 Potato
1 Large Bowl of Water
1 Potato Peeler

2 Cups of Oil for frying

One hour before, rinse and peel the potato.

Use the potato-peeler to shave the potato into slices. Soak them in the water.

To fry; dry the slices. Heat the oil on medium heat.

Cook the slices in handfuls until they are golden.

Drain drain the slices on newspaper.

This is probably the more complicated writing I've tried.

Very few types of mistakes, and as you said advanced stuff. Most of my comments are around finding the best word in the dictionary. Your most important grammar points to work on:

- In the imperative, you don't need the "thu", just like in English: Boil! Bruich!

- the plural article is "na".

- you might want to take a look at ann an (no article) and anns an (with article). This takes some getting used to, so don't worry if it takes you a while.

Criospan rùsgadair buntàta

"bobhla" is more common for "bowl" these days

air beulaibh is "before" in a spatial sense. In a time sense: ro làimh

roinnsich is rùisg am buntàta - no need for "thu". And you might as well rùisg with your rùsgadair

Ùisig an rùsgadair buntàta gus am buntàta a bhearradh ann an slisean. A more natual way to say this wuld be: Beàrr am buntata ann an slisean leis an rùsgadair.

ann an uisge = in water. anns an uisge = in the water

Gus frithig; sùgh na slisean. I thing tiormaich and maybe seac a more common than sùgh

Bruich na slisean nan dòrlaich gus am bi iad òr-bhuidhe.

Traogh na slisean air pàipear-naidheachd.
