Well, that's a good sign, right?

I've been taking a couple of weeks out from actively learning Gàidhlig, but strangely-enough, I've found that my brain keeps thinking about it sub-consciously, and I'm finding myself occasionally 'thinking' anns a' Ghàidhlig - sometimes in phrases, but more often words for whatever I'm seeing or doing...
I hope that's a good sign and not a sign of insanity

Stark, staring bonkers, totally off your trolley, raving looney...actually, no, it's probably a good sign. Happens to me all the time - with all sorts of languages (usually English, Welsh and Gaelic).

A great sign. Are you dreaming in Gàidhlig?

Dreaming in Gaelic? Caution: I once dreamed I was having a conversation in Swedish -- I don't speak Swedish. Dreams can't be trusted.

Once i dreamt into gáidhlig, i came to a very close circle of people that stood on a hill speaking a language i wanted to understand but couldn´t

I´m still feeling pathetic. That wasn´t a good sign eh????

I've had dreams where I've been trying to speak Gàidhlig to people, but made a complete hash of it and they all look at me and think I'm useless...
So not that much different from when I'm awake, then!
Looney - check!
Stark, staring bonkers - check!
Off my trolley - absolutely check!

Join the club then
Terry, don't feel pathetic. It might have been your subconciuos desire to learn, or frustration because you hoped to learn faster than you are. Don't worry about it, learning a language always takes time

I'd say it's certainly better to have Gaelic on the mind than not to be thinking about it all!
