Hi all!

Wow... did activation ever take forever!

But anyhoo, I'm a 20 yo gaidhlig student from Tennessee.

Currently I'm in self study using the "Taic" online lessons.

Learning by myself is pretty difficult so I'm hoping to be able to get some help here along the way.

Thanks a million!
Megan

Haha, S'okay! I was just worried that it didn't go through! And I couldn't figure out the contact page... It kept giving me errors...

That shouldn't happen - do you remember what the error message was, so I can fix it?

Fàilte, a Mhagaidh Anna! :D

Tha mòran gràmair feumail ann an TAIC, ach feumaidh tu Gàidhlig a chleachdadh agus a bhruidhinn cuideachd!

Lots of useful grammar and vocab in TAIC but you need to use and speak Gaelic too.

Have a look at the Gaelic 2012 section - lots of learners at various stages of Gaelic on there, and there's a thread with Skype contacts.

There's also, further down the board, a section for grammar and language discussion.

See you there! :spors:

Lots of tips here:

There are also systematic online + phone/Skype courses available through SMO (run from Scotland) and the AGA (from Canada).

Yes I do, I typed in all the info it asked for (lots of dictionary use lol!) And hit send, or submit, and it simply said the page could not load.

I can go back and get it all for sure, but that was the gist of it.

And thanks!
That's one reason I'm here. I'm getting pretty good at writing what little I know, but I have zero chance to speak it. I'll add my Skpe address to the board.
