Hello from Scotland/England/Wales
I have been over here since the 10 th of August. Until yesterday I was in Scotland. Right now I am having a cuppa coffee in a Keswick B&B.
I am speechless. One of my FB posts sys it all "A phrase comes to mind - "There and Back Again - A tale by Bilbo Bagins" ". If you have read the book then no explanation is needed. If not, then only a trip here will answer your questions.
Time was limited. I missed SMO and the Gàidhlig Bookstore. Mind you I did do many laps of Glasgow while finding the way out.
I basically drove around the 'outside' of Scotland making a few inward journeys. Glasgow-Edinburgh-Stonehaven-Inverness-Thurso-Birsay-South Ronaldsay-Thurso-Durness-Ullapool-Port Nis-Porchana(spelling, South Uist)-Uig-Oban-Iona-Kilmartin-Glasgow-NewtonStewart-GretnGreen-Penrith-Keswick.
The people here are truly blessed.
Today I am heading down to Cardiff and the Dr Who experience. Then off to Glastonbury to walk through the mist.
Once I return home I sign up for lessons via AGA, with thoughts of saving up for next year.
Feeling the love of this land is amazing.
Kim

Agus abair gun do shiubhal thu fada fada!
Tha mi cinnteach gum bi dealbhan drùidhteach nad cheann is nad chamara!
I too am really pleased you enjoyed your trip.
And wow, what a long way you travelled!
I'm sure you'll have impressive pictures in your head and in your camera!

Cha do chuir na D no C às dhomh / Cha do rinn na C no D sgrios orm.
Bha mi ag itealaich/Dh'itealaich mi an T.
Am faic sinn dealbh no dhà? - Can we see a few pictures (= a picture or two)?

Here is a sampling of the pictures. Taken from my mobile uploads. I have many others, some are breath taking.

Re: Hello from Scotland/England/Wales
Thanks Steaphanaidh. Once I get the others sorted I will post them
Yes I saw those, along the road side by the school I believe and in the Churchyard. Outstanding
There are some that you have to arrange to see in Arbroath. The heritage centre at the Abbey organizes the viewing. Mind you these ones could also be in Aberlemno. I do not know. I could not get a viewing until late the next day so had to pass
.
The abbey is lovely. If you do get there and want to checkout acoustics they allow you to sing in the one enclosed room, The Sacristy. Very Very nice thing to do
