Hi, glad to have found your forum.

I'm an architecture student from Glasgow, Scotland, and I've always had an interest in learning Gaelic. My girlfriend is from Lithuania, and after we started seeing one another, I always enjoyed hearing her speaking in her mother tongue, and after picking up a few words and phrases, it raised my interest in speaking my own.

I plan on learning Gaelic rather casually, and I hope that your forum will be of great help. :D

We are here to help. There are classes available in Glasgow, you might want to consider those as well to help you with pronunciation.

Welcome from me too!
:D

As you're lucky enough to be in a place with opportunities to hear and practise the language, it would make sense to take advantage of them. There are informal get-togethers too. These would supplement self-study, if you decided against an actual course.

Gur math a thèid leat! Good luck!
