BTW, and sorry for going off-topic, is there any way to prevent posts from appearing automatically on the forum's Twitter feed? Apologies if this has been asked before - I've just recently joined, and couldn't find anything obvious in the Control Panel.

No, there is no way to hide posts from the Twitter channel, it's all done automatically by RSS. They are all indexed by Google as well, so the forums are completely public.
