Happy Easter in Gaelic

Unread post by Am Portagaileach »

Hi, people have been asking me how to say "Happy Easter" in Gaelic.

I thought it would be "A' Chàisg shona", but all the references on the Internet give "A' Chàisg sona", without the lenition. Why does "sona" not lenite after this feminine noun?

Anyway, A' Chàisg s(h)ona dhuibh uile,

Lachlan
