Hi, I am new to the forum. I wish to ask for a tr*nsl*t**n of the title of a paper I am writing. The title of my paper is Scottish Gaelic in 21st Century: Opportunities and Challenges. It would be really cool if I could also write it in Scottish Gaelic. I asked the question at another forum and a very kind person made the following suggestion as well as directing me here. He/she says:

Gàidhlig Anns an 21a Linn: Cothroman agus Dùbhlain.

but... to be 100% sure I think you'd better ask on a Gaelic forum, such as http://www.foramnagaidhlig.net/

(the main problem I have, is that "cothroman" means many different things, so you'd better ask other people to be sure it is not too ambiguous)

If you have any corrections to the above tr*nsl*t**n or if you have other suggestions, I would be very happy. Thank you in advance for all your comments.

This is correct. I'd make some minor style corrections though:

Gàidhlig sa 21a linn: cothroman agus dùbhlain.

Title Case Is a Specifically English Habit, but if you want to keep it, go ahead. To me, it looks better with lowercase letters though.

Sa Chuimris, sgrìobhar "20fed" (ugeinfed) agus "21ain" (unfed ar hugain). 'S dòcha gu bheil mi ceàrr, ach sa Ghàidhlig "aonamh air fhichead" agus "21mh": chan obair a' Ghàidhlig dìreach mar a' Chuimris an seo.
