I checked and both are applicable if TYG and Akerbeltz are to be believed ;)

Either way, I'm sure I will. I've been dabbling for almost a year on and off but only recently got serious about it. So far so good though, and it's great to have folks here who are willing to help.

Edit: Augh! Falsity! Turns out after additional research that Bàird is the plural form! Ah well, off to message the mods ;)

Halò a h-uile duine. Duilich gu bheil mi fadalach. Tha an naidheachd gu bheil Fòram na Gàidhlig an àirde a rithist a’ sgaoileadh air feadh an eadar-lìn fhad ‘s a tha sinn bruidhinn. Ann an ùine nach bi fada thig cach agus bidh na sàiltean aca a’ bualadh nan thòin a’ dèanamh air an Fhòram spaideil siùbhlach a tha seo. ’S math a rinn thu GC!

Hi everyone. Sorry I’m late. The news that Fòram na Gàidhlig is up again is spreading through the internet as we speak. It won’t be long before the rest head for this splendid articulate forum in double-quick time. Well done GC.

I think I've figured it out though - how's this: Your nickname is correct now
Is that the general idea of it?

Halò!

Is mise Lìosa, no Leessa ('s e leessa am facal Ruisis airson "sionnach" agus tha e beagan coltach ris an t-ainm a th'orm :) )
Tha mi à Kazakhstan :) Tha mi air a bhith ag ionnsachadh na Gàidhlig airson... mmm... ceithir bliadhna, 's dòcha... :) Dhìochuimhnich mi  Bha mi air an fhòram eile cuideachd, ged nach robh mi a' sgrìobhadh ann gu tric... Tha mi air a bhith gu math trang agus tha an t-eagal orm nach eil mo chuid Ghàidhlig cho math a-nis... Dhìochuimhnich mi mòran... Co-dhiù, bithidh mi a'tighinn an seo is a'sgrìobhadh an seo bho àm gu àm, gu cinnteach!

I'm Lisa, or Leessa (Leessa is Russian for "fox", sounds a little like my name :) ) I'm from Kazakhstan :) I have been learning Gaelic for... perhaps four years :) I forgot  I was on the aother forum too, though I didn't post there so often... I have been very busy and now I'm afraid my Gaelic is not very good. I have forgotten a lot... Anyway, I will certainly come here and post here from time to time!

A GhunChleoc!!! Is math a rinn thu! Tha e dìreach uabhasach math gun do thòisich thu am fòram ùr seo! :D Tapadh leat!

GunChleoc!!! Well done! It is really very good that you have begun this new forum! :D Thank you!

Agus gabhaibh mo leisgeul nach eil mo chuid Bheurla cho math cuideachd.
Sorry my English is also not very good.

Ò, agus Indie cuideachd :)

Bha mi anns an sgoil an-diugh. Bha e an "MacMillan Coffee Morning" an-diugh - Bha e èibhinn is spòrs! :)

Tha mi a' smaoineachadh tha beagan Gàidhlig agam... A bheil mi ceart?

Uill, tha mi air ais!! Tha e gu math!

Beannachd leibh an-dràsda! :D

Hello and good afternoon to you all! How are you? Are you good?

My name is Alexander, or Alex. I am from Scotland and live in Dollar, Clackmannanshire. I have been learning Gaelic for 5 months. I used to be on the old forum.

I am 15 years old and tall! I am in 5th year at Alva Academy. I live with my dad and mum. We have 4 cats and 1 dog... I don't like the dog, but i like my cats! They are called Bumble, Mogwi, Sùileabhan and Buchan. I like rock, pop and metal music. Oh, and also Indie.

I was at school today. It was the "MacMillan Coffee Morning" today - it was funny and fun!

I am thinking that i only have a little Gaelic. Am i right?

Well, i am back! It is good!

Goodbye for now! :D
