Hàlo!

Can anyone recommend any good historical fiction with a Celtic spin on it? Set in Ireland or Scotland would be great, but Wales is just as well. As for time period I'm aiming anything from about 300-1450.

Anyone got anything good to share?

Personally I quite enjoy Bernard Cornwell, and The Warlord Chonicles were great. I'm just starting into The Last Kingdom now - shaping up to be great this far.

Barbara Erskine is very good at taking Historical facts/people and mixing it in with fiction. Her novels are based in Scotland , Wales & England. Although her novels are more for the romantic at heart. You may enjoy her novels; they are excellent.
