I know verbs of motion can express both motion itself and intent, like in English, eg:

Tha mi a' dol dhan phàirc.
I am going to the park. (I am in motion towards the park)

Tha mi a' dol ga bhualadh.
I am going to hit him. (I have intent to hit him)

But I'm wondering about using verbs of motion to express intent to be in motion.

I know in English we can say…

I am going to go to the park.

…and we (at least where I live) often reduce it to…

I am going to the park tomorrow

…which might have your old English teacher twitching, but in context makes sense. So my question is, can we have the same things in Gaelic (strictly or otherwise)?

e.g.

Tha mi a' dol a dhol dhan phàirc a-màireach
I am going to go to the park tomorrow. (I intend on going to the park tomorrow)

Tha mi a' dol dhan phàirc a-màireach
I am going to the park tomorrow. (I intend on going to the park tomorrow)

NB: I'm trying to convey a present tense intention, not express actual motion in the future, eg:

Bidh mi a' dol dhan phàirc [a-màireach]
I will be going to the park tomorrow. (I will be in motion towards the park [tomorrow])

Do those make sense?

Tha mi a' dol dhan pairc a-màireach... that's the sort of thing that you hear increasingly, but it's not a traditional form, and most older speakers would never say that. It's still considered an Anglicism, and while I wouldn't tell a native off for saying it, I'd avoid using it as a learner.

I've heard people say that dol a dhol is much more immediate than going to go in English, but people don't seem to agree on that one.

Bidh mi a' dol dhan phàirc is what I've learrnded to say.

You could also say:

Chuir mi romham dol dhan phàirc
'S ann gun dèid mi dhan phàirc
Tha fainear dhomh dol dhan phàirc
Tha mi gu bhith dol dhan phàirc
