Tha mise a' fuireach ann am baile faisg air Sruighlea. Tha a' ghrian a' dearsadh agus tha an eòin a' ceilearadh sa gharradh.
I live in a village near Stirling. The sun is shining and the birds are twittering in the trees.
Tha sinn a' ceannach barrachd biadh bho companaidhean beaga a-nis -- buidsearan, bùthan/bùitean tuathanais agus mar sin air adhart air sgàth agus gum bi iad a' libhrigeadh dhan dachaigh.
We're buying more food from small companies now -- butchers, farm shops etc because they'll deliver to the house.
Mar sin, bidh sinn ag ithe biadh nas fhallainne na bhiodh roimhe.
As such, we tend to eat healthier food than we would before.
Tha e math an-dràsta fhèin, ach tha fhathast eagal orm.
It's good right now, but I'm still afraid.
Chan eil a' bhìoras air a nochdadh idir sa bhaile agam gu ruige seo, ach tha mi cinnteach nach bi e fada...
The virus hasn't shown up in my village at all so far, but I'm sure it won't be long...
Ciamar a tha "lockdown" far a bheil sibh? How is lockdown where you are?

Thèid mi fhìn fhathast dha na bùithtean àbhaisteach, an dà chuid beag is mòr. Cha dèid mi ann cho tric mar as àbhaist co-dhiù. Chan eil an t-eagal orm ach chan eil mi airson an galar a sgaoileadh do chàch.
Tha mi ag ionndrainn na coiseachd dhan bhuidheann còmhraidh agam ach bidh sinn a' tachairt ri chèile air loidhne a-nis.
i still go to my usual shops, both small and big. I don't go there as often as usual though. I am not afraid, but I don't want to spread the illness to anybody else.
I miss walking to my conversation group, but we are meeting online now.

Re: Ciamar a tha "lockdown" far a bheil sibh? How is lockdown where you are?
Bha mi caran reamhar bho chionn bliadhna.
I was pretty fat a year ago.
Bha mi na b' aotruime ro àm na bliadhn' ùir.
I was lighter by New Year.
Ach bhon a thòisich an lockdown, tha mi na b' aotruime fhathast.
But since the lockdown began, I'm lighter still.
Gu mì-fhortanach, tha sin a' fàgail a' bhriogais agam ro mhòr, agus chan eil dòigh tè ùr a cheannach leis gu bheil na bùithtean dùinte.
Unfortunately, that leaves my trousers too big, and I can't buy new ones [lit. a new one] what with the shops being shut.
'S math gu bheil fèileadh agam ma-thà, agus esan beag gu leòr.
It's good I've got a kilt then, and it's small enough.
Is mise "Nìall Beag an fhèilidh" a-nis...
I'm "Wee Kiltie Nìall" now...

Tha glasadh-sluaigh ann an-seo anns na Tìrean Ìsle cuideachd: tha gach taigh-bìdh is taigh-seinnse dùinte, ach tha na bùthan agus na takeaways fosgailte fhathast. Feumaidh sinn fuireach a-staigh ma ghabhas e dèanamh, agus nuair tha sinn a-muigh is a-mach feumaidh sinn fuireach meatair is leith bho chèile. 'S e oileanach aig Oilthigh Leiden a th' annam; tha a h-uile aitreabh na h-oilthigh dùinte cuideachd, agus tha na leasanan againn air an eadar-lìon a-nis. Cha toil leam stuidearachd aig an taigh anns an seòmar agam òranach.
There's a lockdown here in the Netherlands too: all the restaurants and pubs are closed, but the shops and takeaways are still open. We need to try and stay inside if possible, and when we're out and about we need to stay a meter and a half apart. I'm a student at Leiden University; all the university buildings are closed too, and our classes are now online. I don't like studying at home in my room on my own
Seo bhidio mun glasadh-sluaigh an-seo air Facebook sa' Ghàidhlig le fo-thiotalan sa' Bheurla: https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=169284517472644

Tha mi ceart gu leòr, tha mi coma mu dheidhinn fuirich san taigh a chionn is gur h-e oileanach a th' annam agus tha mi a' fuireach còmhla rim phàrantan.
I'm OK, I don't much care about staying at home because I'm a student and I live with my parents.
Tha am Boris ag iarraidh oirnn tilleadh gu obair, ach cha bhi mi a' dèanamh sin!
The Boris wants us to return to work, but I won't be doing that!
