"Ciamar a chanas mi 'The House of Sorrow' anns a' Ghaìdhlig?

(It's for a book I'm writing, and I don't know the word for sorrow, so...)

Chanadh tu An Taigh Carraideach.

Tha òran ann agus rinn Capercaille tionndadh air "Chuir m'athair mise dhan taigh charraideach" - translated as "My father sent me to the house of sorrow" on their album cover -(Nàdurra)

Carraideach means "strife" "trouble", but also grieved and fatigued.

If, however, you want The House of Sorrow, in just a sense of sadness, then "Taigh a' bhròin" would be perfect.

Also, "Taigh a' mhulaid" or even "Taigh a' Mhùige"
