No problem.
Literal tr*nsl*t**n of English phrasal verbs needs a bit of thinking about - some work, some don't.
E.g. "coimhead air adhart" meaning "look forward to" is becoming increasingly common, though it's obviously an English calque and "dèan fiughair ri" should always be used in preference, in my opinion:

However, to tr*nsl*t* "look for" as "coimhead airson" rather than "lorg" wouldn't work at all...

Glè inntinneach gu dearbh, a Mhairc.
Bu choir dhomh "phrasal verbs" rannsachadh san fhaclair mus sgrìob mi iad anns na posts agam!
Very interesting indeed, Marc.
I should look up phrasal verbs in the dictionary before using them in my posts!

An rud a tha doirbh 's e gu bheil "phrasal verbs" aig a' Ghàidhlig cuideachd - tha e doirbh ràdh aig amannan an dàinig fear sònraichte on Bheurla gus nach dàinig.
The thing that's difficult is that Gaelic has some phrasal verbs too - it is sometimes difficult to say if a specific one came from English or not.

Tha mi gad thuigsinn, a Ghun Chleoc. Tapadh leat.
Ged a bha a grianach nuair a dh'fhàg mi an taigh sa mhadainn, tha e sgòthach an-dràsta.
Agus tha e fuar a-rithist.
'S fheàrr leam an samhradh.
I understand, GunChleoc. Thanks.
Although it was sunny when I left the house this morning, it is cloudy now.
And it is cold again.
I prefer the summer.

Bha e fliuch is fuar an-dè, an-diugh cuideachd, agus bith an t-uisge ann a-màireach mar is àbhaist. 'S e Glaschu a th' ann an seo.
It was cold and wet yeserday, today as well, and it will be raining tomorrow as usual. This is Glasgow.

Tha e nas blàithe an-seo na sa Ghearmailt co-dhiù!
It's wamer here than in Germany though

'S e an t-earrach no 's dòcha am foghar a tha a ann an-seo aig amannan, ach 's e an geamhradh aig àm eile.
Tha i fliuch, agus tha i fuar; tha an sneachd ann, agus an t-uisge às dèidh sin...
It's the spring or maybe the autumn here sometimes, but at another time it's the winter.
It's wet, and it's cold; it snows, and it rains after that...

Sneachd, like all monosyllabic words ending in -achd, is masuline:

Yes, it's masculine, so it's "an sneachd"
Tha an sneachd ann
air an t-sneachd

air an t-sneachd

Seadh; get a tha fhios agam mu "an sneachd" agus "air an t-sneachd", tha amharas agam gu tric air an fhacal seo. Agus mar seo, seallaidh mi san Fhaclair Bheag a-rithist is a-rithist.
Yes; though I know about "an sneachd" and "air an t-sneachd", I do doubt very often about this word. And so, I look in the dictionary (AFB) again and again.

Bha i uabhasach fliuch agus garbh sa gheamhradh ann an Fìobha. 'Nise tha i grianach, fa dheòigh! Agus tha i tlàth a-nis cuideachd.
It was terribly wet and windy in winter in Fife. Now it's sunny, finally! And it's mild now too.

Re: Ciamar a tha an t-sìde / How's the weather?
Chan eil mi a' smaoineachadh gu bheil e ro dhona ann an Glaschu an-dràsta, gè-ta bha aimsir ghrod againn am-bliadhna gun ìre seo. Co-dhiù, tha mi leth-choma a tha e fuar air chàs tha e tioram.
I don't think it's too bad in Glasgow just now, although we've had horrible weather this year so far. Anyway, I'm not bothered if it's cold as long as it's dry
