Tha e glè snog an-seo ann an Lunnainn an -diugh.
It is nice here in London today.
Tha e blath agus tha e grianach.Tha leann fuar agam.
It is warm and sunny. I have a cold beer.
Tha e là math.
Its a good day.

Bha e uabhasach brèagha an seo cuideachd. Ghabh mi cuairt air an dùthaich agus thog mi cus dealbhan, mar as àbhaist....
It was lovely here too. I went for a walk in the country and took too many photos, as usual.
Beagan ceartachaidh:
Tha e glè shnog...
Tha e blàth ........
'S e latha math a th' ann. -It's a good day ("that's in it") OR Tha an latha math. -The day is good.
- 'tha' is used for describing, not for defining.

Nach robh? Cha robh an t-uisge ann an Glaschu cho fad 's a tha cùimhne agam. 'S e heatwave a bh' ann am-bliadhna.
Really? It hasn't rained in Glasgow for as long as I can remember. It's been a heatwave this year.

Bha mi a' smaoineachadh gun robh sneachd ann an Glaschu ann an January, nach robh?
I thought there was snow in Glasgow in January, wasn't there?
Cha robh an t-samhradh ro teth, ach cha robh moran uisge ann geamhradh an-uiridh agus bha samhradh uabhasach tioram. Cha robh uisge gu leor againn airson nighe ann an February agus March.
Summer wasn't too hot, but there wasn't much rain last winter and summer was awfully dry. We didn't have enough water for bathing in February and March.
Tha beagan uisge ann an seachdain agus tha sinn gle gle thoilichte a-nis. Tha mi a' chunnaic air feur uaine a-rithist! Tha na tuathanaich toilichte cuideachd.
It's been raining a bit this week and last and we're very very happy about it. I'm seeing green grass again! The farmers are happy as well.

'S e fealla-dhà a bha sin, bha an t-sneachd ann an seo an t-seachdain seo chaidh. Tha an aimisir air a bhith grod am bliadhna uile.
That was a joke. There was snow here last week. The weather's been horrible all year.
'S e là 'taps aff' a th' ann an diugh a-cheana!
It's taps aff today though!

Sa Siatal tha e uabhasach fuar ... ach co-dhiù chan eil uisge ann! Canaidh sinn sin a h-uile latha gun uisge ann. (An e sin a' Ghàidhlig air 'at least it's not raining'?)
In Seattle it's terribly cold... but at least it's not raining! We say that every day without rain.

Bha i blàr blàth agus fliuch an-seo (St-Petersburg, an Ruis) gus an tàinig ceann na bliadhna, agus an dèidh sin dh'fhàs i uabhasach fuar!
It was warm and wet here (St-Petersburg, Russia) until the end of the year came, and after that it became terribly cold!

Tha i nas fhuaire an-seo a-nis cuideachd ach grianach.
It is colder here now too but sunny.
blàr -> blàth
A bheil fèin-cheartachadh na Gàidhlig aig an fhòn-làimhe agad?
Does your smartphone have a Gaelic autocorrect?
tha an t-uisge ann - an latha a tha an t-uisge ann
chan eil an t-uisge ann - an lath nach eil an t-uisge ann
"uisge" is masculine and starts with a vowel, so you have to add the t- in the nominative/common case.

Air a char as lugha, cha dèan e Anus dhe Angus mar a rinn fòn agam roimhe le meur-chlàr na Gearmailtis air!
At least is doesn't turn Angus into Anus like one of my phones did to me already that was set to a German keyboard

Seo an seanfhacal Ruiseach: "Никто не любит слишком умных" - "Cha toigh le duine beò am fear a tha ro ghlic".
Bidh sin ceart airson fèin-cheartachaidh cuideachd.
There is a Russian proverb: "Никто не любит слишком умных" - "Nobody likes those who are too clever".
It's right for autocorrect also.
