and that's about the extent of my gaelic knowledge.
Just started with a book and some CDs yesterday...very fascinated by the langauge, I've got some Scottish ancestry and I think it's important to learn it.

So just saying hi, I hope this site can be lots of help!

I only started to learn Gàidhlig six months ago with the Sabhal Mòr Ostaig and am still as fascinated as I was the first day.

You would say: Tha mi às na Stàitean Aonaichte to say I am from the United States.

Tha mise às an Eilbheis = I am from Switzerland
