A' dol tro, no a' dol gu?
That móran a' dol dha airson laithean-saora agus pios beag "culture vulture feel good factor". Bidh iad a' deanamh an aon cùrsa, bliadhna as déidh bliadhna.
Chan eil dith cùrsaichean oirnn, 's e an cleachdadh a tha chuir dragh oirnne. Tha Gàidhlig gu tur gun feum an-drasta. 'S urrainn dhuit dol dhan Mòd gun Gàidhlig. 'S urrainn dhuit dol gu Ceòlas gun Gàidhlig. 'S urrainn dhuit dol gu cuirmean ciùil Gaidhealach gun Gàidhlig. 'S urrainn dhuit coimhead air BBC Alba gun Gàidhlig. 'S urrainn dhuit dol gu coinneamhan coimhearsneachdan na Gàidhlig... gun Gàidhlig.
Thathar gu bheil siud suidheachadh math air sgaths gu bheil Gàidhlig "open to everyone" mar sin. Bollags. The biggest problem I had with learning Gaelic has always been the ease with which I can fall back on English whenever I run out of words of even if I'm just in a bit of a rush... like now.
Ceòlas really irritates me at times because of the "English habit" many of the staff and helpers get into. They're being friendly, they're being open, but it's not good for the Gaelic.
