An dearbh rud an seo - agus feumaidh mi draibheadh gu math fada a-muigh air an dùthaich. Tha mi 'n dòchas nach bi e cho dona 's a bha iad ag ràdh! :?

The very same thing here - and I have to drive quite a long way out in the country. I hope it won't be as bad as they were saying.

Tha sin ceart againn :)
That's right for us.

Tha i nas fhuaire an-diugh na bha i an-dè, agus tha mòran sneachda ann...
It's more cold today than it was yesterday and there are much snow...

Tha an t-sneachd ann taobh an ear na h-Alba

Cha thànaig an sneachd an-diugh. Tha an tuairmse sìde ag atharrachadh a h-uile uairean. Tha mi glè ghlic agus a' dol campadh an ceann seachdain seo.

The snow didn't come today, the weather forecast is changing all the time. I'm being very clever and going camping this weekend.

Tha mi an dòchas nach bi e ro fhuar airson campaidh.
I hope it won't be too cold for camping.

Tha an t-sneachd ann an-seo.
It is snowing here.

weekend = deireadh-seachdain
an ceann seachdain = after/in a week. ceann often does mean "end" though.

Tha i brèagha agus grianach .... tha i 25° - when you use i in the beginning, stick with it ;)

Glè mhath agus cumaibh oirbh! :D

Tha an t-sneachd ann an-seo cuideachd an-diugh!
Bha mi muigh air an dùthaich agus bha e cho brèagha! Taing do Dhìa, cha robh na rathaidean ro dhona fhad 's a bha sinne a' dràibhadh. Tha mi an dòchas nach bi e nas miosa a-maireach, nuair a bhios slighe nas fhaide romhainn .

There's snow here too today. I was out in the country and it was so lovely. Thank God the roads weren't too bad while we were driving. I hope it won't be any worse tomorrow, when we have a longer journey before us.

Cha mhòr gu bheil an t-sneachda an-seo idir, ach tha an tuairmse sìde ag ràdh gum bi -11C sa mhadainn thràth Fèill' Anndrais. Bidh mi cho toilichte a' tighinn dhan obair! :?

Hardly any snow here, but early Tuesday morning forecast says -11C. Can't wait for travelling to work then.

Deasaich Edit:

Tha i glè fhuar ann am Birmingham ann an Sasainn an-diugh. Chan eil an t-sneachd ann an-seo, ach tha i brèagha. Tha mise an dòchas nach bi i nas motha a-maireach cuideachd. Feumaidh mi a' dol dhan oifis. Tha mi a' dol dhan Chuimrigh cuideachd!

It is very cold in Birmingham, England today. There is no snow here, but it is beautiful. I myself hope that it is not worse tomorrow too. I must go to the office. I am going to Wales too.

Tapadh leibh Thanks all!

Beagan ceartachaidh:

Sasainn
cuideachd: if you have a negative sentence with cha/nach, use nas motha instead. Same principle as in English I have some / I do not have any. Alternatively, you can use mar an ceudna for things that are the same.

a' dol dhan oifis: do the same for a' Chuimrigh: Tha mi a' dol dhan a' Chuimrigh

Cùm ort, tha seo glè mhath! :D

dhan oifis = do+an oifis, so if you do the same for Wales, you get do+a' Chuimrigh -> dhan Chuimrigh
The article is already 'inside' the dhan.

:naire: you're right. I have heard dhan a' Chuimrigh although you don't write it.

Mar sin leat!

Good afternoon Everybody!

It was a bad day today and there was wind also.

Bon après-midi tout le monde!

Goodbye!

Il ne faisait pas beau aujourd'hui et il y avait aussi du vent.

Au revoir!

Bha i brèagha 's blàth o chionn ghoirid, ach tha i glè fhuar, dorcha agus garbh an-diugh ann an St-Petersburg (anns an Ruis).
'S bochd sin!

The weather was good and warm recently, but it's very cold, dark and windy today in St-Petersburg, Russia.
It's a pity!
