Hi,
I regularly am on the train from Inverness to Elgin.
And sometimes I'm on the Inverness to Central Belt train.
I though it would be great to meet other people that can speak or are learning Gaelic - whilst on the train.
I'm at Ulpan level 79.
Let me know if you're on those trains and fancy a Gaelic chat.
Le durachd,
Alan

Re: Inverness Trains
That's a great idea! I hope some one comes along who takes those trains. I certainly wish I did.

Re: Inverness Trains
Well, usually you only find people up to Ùlpan 54 in the first coach of the train (that's on the Inverness-Aberdeen run), so you may be better off in the second coach. On the Highland Main Line run, proficient Gaelic speakers usually go for the first coach, but may be found in the second if it's a buffet-bar service - excluding Cinneadh na Gàidhealtachd, where they're usually found in Coach G (obviously).
Oh drat - chan e 1 an Giblean a th' ann...
Mind you, it might be useful to investigate some sort of protocol like this, so you knew the best coach to try for Gaelic speakers. Dè ur beachdan?
