Hi from Ayrshire

Unread post by Highlander »

Hi,

Stuart from Ayrshire.

Been playing around with Gaelic on my own for a couple of years now without really getting very far..

One of my New Years Resolution's was to do it properly, so last night I signed up (along with my sister) for the ULPAN Gaelic course at Kilmarnock College.

Great to find an active Gaelic speaking forum! :D

If the three of you can agree to meet to practise together in the meantime with books/online material, or via Skype, that's a good way to keep in practice, use the time profitably, and not have to jump into cold water when the course does take off!

'S ann an Inbhir Air fhèin a rugadh 's thogadh m'athair 's tha mi eòlach air. Càite bheil thu?

My father was born and raised in Ayr itself and I know it well. Where are you?
