It's a bit difficult to get Gaelic books in the US, especially where I live. I could order from a couple Canadian sites, but I'd end up paying about twice as much in Canadian prices and shipping than if I ordered from the UK (Tapadh leat, NAFTA

Comhairle nan Leabhraichean
Is anyone here associated with Comhairle nan Leabhraichean (www.gaelicbooks.net)? I tried to order some things from them, but was having a technical problem with the site. I emailed them about placing an order another way about a week ago, but haven't heard back.

I ordered a book from them last year. Came within 4 days (But the store is only 50 miles away).
The postage made it a bit expensive but ohwell. The only criticism i have is that a lot of the stuff is over priced, but i guess it is a minority market so they need to recoup the price of production somehow.

They're still a bit cheaper than Sìol Enterprises (www.gaelicbooks.com) in Canada, and they have a better selection (at least online). I understand how expensive printing and importing books for a limited market can be, but I still don't want to pay more if I don't have to.
My other option is to hunt down an US bookseller who would be willing to try and order these books, and end up paying god knows what.
