A Ghun Chleoc, Bha Eurovision èibhinn...

Co-dhiù, an-diugh bha mi ann am Peairt còmhla ri m' àthair agus chaidh mi dhan colaiste. A-nis, tha mi a' dèanamh an cùrsa "Gaelic 2 - SQA Module" - Tha mi a' smaoineachadh gu bheil e math agus beagan doirbh...
An dèidh sin, chaidh sinn taigh-biadh, biadh Sìonach, agus bha moran biadh againn! Bha e blàsta.
Dh'fhaighinn sinn am bùs aig 210f gu Sruighlea agus na am bùs eile aig 310f gu Dollar. Bha i ro thèth... Bha an t-uisge ann moran.
A-nis, tha mo chairdean an seo. Tha sinn ag èisteachd ri ceòl - Hellogoodbye. Tha i math.
A-màireach, bith mi a dhol mo chùrsa...
Eurovision was funny...

Went to Perth with my dad. Doing a Gaelic course now. Think it will be good but hard.
After went to restaurant and ate tons. It was yummy.
We got the 210 bus to Stirling then another bus at 310 to Dollar. It was too hot... It was raining a lot.
Now, my friends are here. Got music on.
Tomorrow, i will do my course...

Tha mi toilichte gun do chòrd EV riut agus tha mi an dòchas gum bi an cùrsa glè fheumail is tlachdmhor dhut!
I'm happy you liked EV and I hope the course will be very useful and fun!

You are mixing the "Tha Noun Adjective" and the "'S e Noun1 a th' ann Noun2" forms. Bidh agad ri ràdh:

- Bha Eurovision èibhinn
- Bha e blàsta
- Tha e math

all without "a th' ann".


And it's chaidh - Chaidh mi dhan cholaiste

bha mòran biadh againn - without "sinn", because that's already in the "againn" = aig + sinn. You could also say "Dh' ith sinn cus" - we ate too much

Thanks for correcting my mistake, I'm always making mistakes now and then with my Gàidhlig but that's life when you are learning a new language.

Tha sinn a' bruidhinn ann an Gaidhlig agus Gaeilige (no Gaidhlig na h-eirinn).

It was me ( Chris ) that said thanks for correcting my mistake. I'm hopefully going to college in Edinburgh to learn Gàidhlig and this will improve my grammar and syntax even more.

Me too. Their sound wasn't good [technically] though, and it's just music now... Petabog Faeries? If it is their new(ish) CD, I like it.
