Cuidich mi, mas e ur toil e.
Halò,
Ciamar a chanas mi "I write" "I read" "I do" etc. sa' Ghàidhlig? Mar, "I write in English" no "I read the paper"?
A bheil e dìreach "Tha mi a' sgrìobhadh" "Tha mi a' leughadh" agus "Tha mi a' dèanamh"?
Tapadh leibh a h-uile duine.

Tha sin ceart gu leòr. I write, I read, I do, or I am writing, I am reading, I am doing.*Alasdair* wrote:Halò,

Aidh, tha eòlas agam air an tràth gnàthach - tha e iogantach! Hàhà.An Gobaire wrote:Tha e a-rèir ciamar a chleachdas tu iad.
Mar eisimpleir...
I write in English every day.
'S e "Bidh mi a' sgriobhadh sa Bheurla a h-uile latha." a th' ann.
Sin agad an tràth gnàthach. (habitual tense)
"Bidh mi a' snàmh a h-uile latha" etc...

Can you give a bit more context, like whole sentences? The English present tense can also be translated with the Gaelic future tense. In that case it would be Sgrìobhaidh mi, Leughaidh mi, Nì mi...

"I write in English"
"I read books"
"I do nothing"
"I watch TV"
Do you just use "Tha mi a'....." or is there another way of saying it?
@An Gobaire: Yeah, i have the book but i'm not very far in... I'm just going through it slowly.
