Halò! Is mise David. Ciamar a tha sibh?

My Gàidhlig is still very poor, so please bear with me. I'm excited to find a Gàidhlig Forum (I guess Fòram na Gàidhlig). I hope to improve my Gàidhlig so I can converse with people here and else where.

Tha mi às na Stàitean Aonaichte. But to be more specific; Tha mi às na Nashville, Tennessee.

You'd say tha mi à Nashville, without the article

A bheil thu a' fuireach ann an Nashville fhathast?
