Right. I'm sure most of you know about the SMO corpus:
http://www.smo.uhi.ac.uk/gaidhlig/corpus/

and dictionaries:
http://www.smo.uhi.ac.uk/gaidhlig/faclair/sbg/lorg.php

and the dictionaries at Ceantar:
http://ceantar.org/Dicts/index.html

You may even know about the Gaelic materials at:
http://www.sacred-texts.com/neu/celt/
and
http://www.deirdire.org.uk

But did you know that a couple of big search companies have been scanning the collections of major libraries and universities in North America? Well I did, but I only discovered today that some of the books included are in Gaelic, including poetry, dictionaries, teaching methods and the like taken from Canadian collections, and can be downloaded from archive.org (but don't use the text versions -- these have been OCRed and the computer doesn't have the Gaelic):

Bha mi stèidhich mòran leabhraichean a' Gàidhlig aig googlebooks.

I found more books in Gaelic at Googlebooks.

I found a couple written entirely in Gaelic, one of poetry which could be downloaded for free, plus others that had passages of Gaelic along with their translations.

The National Library of Scotland has started work on a pilot project to digitise around 3,000 Gaelic books.

With the books currently being scanned, one-by-one, one page at a time, the material will start to become available through the library's website (www.nls.uk) later this summer.
