I had a quick look at the Caimbeul book when I was at Comhairle nan Leabhraichean. It is a grammar-based course book rather than a reference grammar. It looked very good to me for learning, treating one topic at a time and not too much in one go. It you are looking for a reference book with nice tables in it to look up stuff, it won't do IMO.miguel wrote:I am interested to buy some grammar book (I'm learning with TYG - I have the learning book and the dictionary), but I don't know which is more adapted for me : Gràmar na Gàidhlig by Maoilios Caimbeul, or the one by Michael Byrne.
