Halò, the doctor! Tha mi toilichte ur coinneacheadh.
Salut - c'est 'professeur' et pas 'médecin' en francais pour 'The Doctor', je crois? Bienvenu!

Dè a' Ghàidhlig air, "I didn't really like it"?

(Actually, there was just one bit that rather spoilt it for me, in the very last section, concerning the implied last action of Captain Brooke. But I won't post spoilers, for anyone who hasn't seen it!)

Dè a' Ghàidhlig air 'spoiler(s)', 'to spoil' agus 'Doctor Who'?

The doctor is le docteur in french.
A docteur is someone who has a Doctorate degree.
Un docteur est quelqu'un qui a un doctorat.

But usually, we say docteur instead of médecin.
Mais habituellement, nous disons docteur à la place de médecin.

What means coinneacheadh?

Coinneachadh = meet

@treaclemine That bit you mentioned didn't spoil it for me, I rather enjoyed it in fact - interesting it should have bothered you. :)

It didn't fit with her character, for me. It felt forced upon her just because Rusty needed it to spite the Doctor.

If you think about the last thing she does on the base I think it does fit - she tries to do the same thing there because she's taking responsibility but he doesn't let her.

Uill, seo mo bheachd-sa co-dhiù :D

Chan eil mi a' tuigsinn "Uill, seo mo bheachd-sa co-dhiù" ... does it mean that's your opinion, perhaps?

The two situations are utterly different, though. We have to assume that in the very brief time she has known the Doctor, she has gained very deep insight into the consequences of Time Lords interfering in what must be, and even for such a remarkable person, that rapid understanding seems implausible to me.
